Look at them. They think they can just take whatever they want.

Degrassi Code of Conduct

    1) The largest banner pixel width is 425 and the largest banner pixel height we allow is 200. Therefore, you can conclude that the largest banner size we allow is 425x200. Pretty easy.
    2) Only one small animation per signature. It may be a blinkie, button, or other small animation, but you may only have one.
    3) You may have two buttons of your choice (no larger than 100x35). These may be clique promotion, fan club, ships, other fandoms, etc. Just remember to keep your buttons appropriate.
    4) In addition to your two buttons of choice, you may have one “official/award” button. Official buttons are a button you’ve received through an official activity of DB (i.e. Apprentice Semi-Finalist, Muffin of the Month, Daffa nominee, a clique award or contest winner). If you are unsure if your button is an official/award button, any moderator would be more than willing to assist you. A full list of the moderators here on the boards may be found by clicking the following link: Degrassi-Boards Staff
      5) No .png or .bmp formats are allowed in signatures under any circumstances. They're very large files and take longer to load on slower connections. Because of this, only .gif and .jpg graphics are allowed.
      6) NO MARQUEES. None whatsoever. Why? Because oftentimes people forget to close the code which throws off the table and makes everything scroll. It’s annoying, a hassle, and drives everyone nuts.
      7) No javascript or flash banners
      8) No religious or political banners or signatures are allowed on the boards. Seasonal religious hoidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and Ramadan are considered exceptions, though it would be preferable to have a banner that plainly says "Happy Holidays." If you choose to have a banner such as "Merry Christmas," please note that no religious icons should be included on the banner. If you are unclear please pm a moderator and they'll be happy to answer your question.
      9) No personal information in your signature. That means no putting your address or telephone number. This is for your safety, so don't do it.
      10) No "Spoiler Banners" A spoiler banner consists of a banner with pictures that give away a major development from an episode that has not aired in the United States yet. While I know several of our members download the episodes for viewing, not everyone has that opportunity and therefore, out of respect to them, keep those pictures off the boards. All banners using pictures from episodes that have not aired in the U.S. must be approved in the Spoiler Banner Approval Thread You may find out what episodes have aired by checking The-N's website or PMing a moderator.
      11) Do not "steal" another person's banner. This means you may not use a banner that was not made by yourself without asking either the maker or the person for whom the banner was originally made. If you are caught using a banner or button without permission, the graphic will be removed from your signature and you will receive a warning. Note: The exception to this rule is clique and club buttons that have been posted in threads to be used by clique or club members.
      12) Twelve lines of text is the max per sig. If you have more than 6 lines of text in your signature, it needs to be in size 1 font. If you have less than 6 lines of text, you may use size 2 font. Size 2 is the maximum text size per signature.
      13) No more than 4 lines of glow text.
      14) All empty lines in your signature will count towards your 12 lines of text.
      (i.e. I love Degrassi!
Craig is my favorite character! -- counts as 3 lines, not 2.)
      15) The maximum size for glitter names can be 100 x 20. If you choose to use a glitter name, that will be your one animation.
      16) No more than 4 smilies may be used in your signature.

        Options for Signatures:
Option A: One large banner (large=425x200), two buttons, and one small animation (an animated button counts as both one button and one animation).
Option B: No more than 4 small banners (small=250x120 or less), two buttons, and one small animation (again, an animated button is both a button and animation). Please Note: Using 4 small banners to create one large banner is not allowed.

        Banner Size Guidelines
Small Banner = 250x120 or less Large Banner = 425x200 to 250x120 One large banner or up to four small banners may be used

        Button Guidelines
Two buttons of your choosing may be used. One official/award button may be used. The largest size for buttons is 100x35.

        Animation Guidelines
Traditional blinkies may be no larger than 15 blocks. Animated buttons must fit the 100x35 rule. Glitter names may be no larger than 100x20

        Text Guidelines
No more than 12 lines of text. Size 1 font must be used if there are more than 6 lines of text. The largest font size that may be used is Size 2. No more than four lines of glow text. Any blank lines in your signature will count towards the maximum 12 lines.

        Signature Suspension:
After someone has been messaged about their signature four times, they are warned that the next offense will be a suspension. On their fifth offense, they will be informed that their signature has been suspended. Upon suspension, an administrator will remove your signature permissions for a predetermined amount of time. Suspensions will last one month for the first suspension, two months for the second suspension, three for the third, and so on.

To put a banner in your signature:
Once you have a banner, you go to 'User CP' then 'Edit Signature' there you can use the vB code [*IMG]web address[*/IMG] minus the *'s. You can also preview your signature by clicking on 'Preview' before you save it.

Do NOT under any circumstances whatsoever, link to an attachment here on the boards. That EATS bandwidth, and I don't know if y'all like to throw money away, but I sure don't . Anyhow, make sure that you upload the banner to an image hosting service. Photobucket.com is a popular one.
